Free Palestine’ 23

These photographs were taken at the Free Palestine protest in Vauxhall on 11 November 2023, one of the largest demonstrations in the UK in recent years with nearly a million people gathering . The march took place amid escalating violence in Gaza, a rising civilian death toll, and ongoing restrictions faced by Palestinians. Protesters called for an immediate ceasefire, access to humanitarian aid, and an end to long-standing injustices.

This work documents the human dimension of the protest, moments of emotion, resolve, and collective presence within the crowd. Banners and chants form the backdrop, but the emphasis remains on the people behind them and the atmosphere of the day.
